In our space, we believe in the power of collectivity, respect for diversity and genuine welcome. Inspired by the traditions of African religions and capoeira, we value each trajectory, each story and each body as an essential part of this collective construction.
The second album, Vadiando no Vale dos Orixás, is born from this same essence: a work that unites generations, where everyone contributes their ideas, their creativity and their experiences. While searching for a name for the album, Marcelo Finco connected with the Vale dos Orixás - a sacred space of celebration and connection with the divinities, present in his childhood memories alongside his grandmother. The next day, as a sign of fate, Mestre Cabello sent a link about the Valley, which he himself had learned about through Marcelo. This meeting of paths sealed the album's name with the power of Alafia - peace and permission from the Orixás to move forward.
Just as the album's musicality builds bridges between times and traditions, Hugo Canuto's illustrations (
@hugocanuto_art) do the same by portraying the Orixás as true heroes, with the grandeur and grandeur worthy of their stories. In his art, the Orixás come to life with the same epic force as characters like Marvel's X-Men, connecting the imagination of different generations and making Afro-Brazilian mythology even closer and more inspiring.
The musicality of this album is a bridge between past and present, a space of exchange where we learn and teach, respecting each other's different rhythms and potential. More than words, we believe that the best way to understand this connection is to feel it. That's why we invite you to listen to Vadiando in the Valley of the Orixás and experience, through music, the power of collectivity, ancestry and transformation. Join us in this experience and see how, together, we continue to move forward, cultivating learning, connection and change.
